Christmas Service at 10.30pm
Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish Christmas Service will be held today 10.30 pm at Marina Hall. A special offertory will be taken to support the Velloor guidance center project. Your cooperation is highly appreciated.
Warm Welcome
Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa, Diocesan Bishop of Chennai – Bangalore Diocese of Mar Thoma Church reached in Kuwait on 20th December. We Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish had given a warm welcome to the Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa at Kuwait Airport. Thirumeni will be the Chief Celebrant of this year's Christmas & New Year Services of Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish. On Dec. 21st 2012 Friday morning Thirumeni had celebrated the Holy Qurbana and also afternoon attended as the chief guest of Sunday School Christmas Programme of our parish. Thirumeni will be attending various programmes of our parish these days as scheduled below.

Christmas Carol 2011: A Grand Success
" Christmas ! The very word brings joy to our hearts. The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others burdens, easing loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of Christmas".
With the Blessings of Almighty, Kuwait Mar Thoma Parish, the biggest parish in Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar celebrated Christmas, the birth of Jesus, in the most befitting manner. More than 3,000 Kuwait Mar Thoma parishioners and people from sister churches gathered in the magnificent splendor of Marina Hall Abbassiya to celebrate the great birth of The Saviour. The beautiful decorations decked in and around, created the ambience of an exciting celebration.
Mellifluous carols rendrered by the Junior and Senior Choir of the Parish spellbound the audience. The brilliantly orchestrated and gracefully sung carols reflected the Humble Birth of The Savior and brought a worshipping atmosphere to the devotees. Adv. John Thomas, Vice President of the Parish, in his Christmas message said that the meaning of Christmas is the delibrate plan of God to send His only Begotten Son to earth, to redeem everyone as His own son. The arrival of Santa along with the shepherd’s carol singing group, created a great fervor in the auditorium as it brought nostalgic memories of yesteryears of Christmas celebrations in our motherland.
Kudos to each and every Choir members, especially to choir leaders Mr. Thomas Mathew (Senior Choir) and Mr. Vinod T Jacob (Junior Choir) for their magnificent effort to make the day a blessed one.
