I would like to talk about how desertful and devastating was the effect of wat d least minority of kuwait marthoma parish did to the whole lot of us...We were one of the biggest parishes marthoma church ever had,d soul and breath of each parishioners stayed within the neck compound for the past 47 years...What an unhuman a man can turn was seen at the parish when some people say half a percent of the total got the idea of splitting the church...
"Your piety has doubtless heard, before the receipt of this letter, of the daring illegalities committed here; for the magnitude of the crime has left no part of the world in ignorance of the cruel tragedy. Rumour has carried the news to the furthest bounds of the earth, and caused everywhere much grief and sorrow. But as the circumstances call not only for lamentation, but for remedial action, and consideration of the steps to be taken to stay this furious tempest raging within the Church...Dis is totally unacceptable..!!
I was a full time active member of kuwait marthoma parish and all its activites during my school period in kuwait...Now as am in kerala geting my higher studies done i had to leave kuwait in 2005...I have never been to such a marthoma parish as in kuwait...The sunday school i dont think all our clergys hav visited our church but you should have ..it is of the biggest sunday schools i have ever attended during my period...Our vacation bible school classes were over flooded wid children and teachers , it was like a maramon convention for us every week...!! Dis decision has affected our part of lives very tragically, god showed us to love even our enemies....!! here our leaders are not loving their members but haunting our lives day by day from the time the church was decided to split...!! why cant you people create another edavaka with our old kuwait marthoma parish existing in the same place...This purely shows that this is in interest of some people hungry and thirsty for position power and dignity!!What dignity without charity and service??This is a very shameful situation for marthoma church and all its members around the world!! This should have never happened in our church...!!
i was ever proud to say that am a member of kuwait marthoma parish and still am mre proudful...The essence and time we had during our time of worship in church, the biggest sunday school we had with students all over the church compound songs we sang, parish festival we had,teenage fellowship we had..youth meetings..Yuvajanasakhyam,senior and junior conferences, prayer meetings,fasting prayers we had was mesmerizing ..I would like to ask all the thirumenis and achens of marthoma parish did u peolple split the church to see all these vanishing or what was ur idea behind this.??
Who told you we were a minority?? we were so attached to our marthoma congregation why did u ever ever dissolve our parish??
For all dose who stood by to do this " wat did u gain ultimately"? freedom?? power?? position?? Take my word to worship and pray to our savior for our worries and troubles he who sees prayers and do wonders will do miracles and we believe in that...!!
By dissolving our parish what u hav done is denying the time we had in our church services and all other activities to our younger generation...What we can do is request to our thirumenis pls give us our church back!!!!
God hears our prayers and he s watching all dese things...
Kuwait marthoma parish was one of the biggest congregations in the neck compound..People have been so devoted and so in love wid d parish we had..If der s a will der s a way , we know whatever the outcome is we hav our savior with us...Every parting s painful but if its for a better and bright future then its fruitful..We will come back more strongly and effectively....!!Every bishop and achens duty is to lead and let us in the right path and see what you have done now lead us into darkness??
We had so much trust and belief in our church amendments and laws laid down by our forefathers and thirumenis , but if it was for such an awful action against us it was a big tragedy and sorrowful...How can our leaders be so insane and so atrocious...??The magnitude of calamity some people caused to our lives were terrible,horrible and diplorable....Have heard how our church reorganized and recovered after the invasion period in kuwait...No authorities or top official leaders know about what our members went through at that time....!!
All these 47 years what we did!! our documents, our history, our church meetings, qurbana we had ,our organizations how magnificently you destroyed it in one eye blink!! All people can do good but if a bad name is tagged its very difficult to change it ....
Please please and please do not do this to any more parishes around the world..I request you all who can retaliate with the power of words to pen down the same and show the world that no outer forces can dissolve our community....
I will surely pen down more of my revolt against this decision in whatever ways i can from this distance.....!!
Ohh god my only prayer is LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION BUT DELIVER US FROM THE EVIL ONES....!!
So i humbly request you thirumenis and achens to give our church back to us....!! And as the other letters mentions do not make us revolt...!!Pls don't make us split...!!Dont waste your time we wont be separated and cannot be...!!
