The ‘ten day’ long vacation bible school hosted by KCMP ended on Friday 22nd June 2012 with a grand finale at the beautiful ambience of Marina Hall Abbasiya. There were wide ranges of activities for the children to nurture their talents as well as to bring them to the divine path. Many of them witnessed and dedicated themselves to the ministry of God to befit the great work done by their teachers .It was a celestial treat to the parents, guests and visitors at Marina hall on the final day of the VBS on 22nd June. The program proclaimed the great saying by Robert Brault “the world is as many times new as there are children in our midst. The audience was spellbound, applauded and appreciated the young budding talents of our children. The variety of programs – action songs, dances, skits everything where simply awesome and highly creative and presented gracefully to depict the motto of this year VBS “Get set go”.
The leadership of Very Rev K O Philipose (Vicar), Rev. Pramod Mathew Thomas (Director) and Adv. P John Thomas (Vice President) was vibrant and enabled the smart and smooth conduct of the VBS. The leadership of George Alexander(General Convener), Jacob Thomas(Head Master),Gracy Alexander(Joint Convener),Suja Abu George (Secretary],Thomas Mathew (Volunteer captain), Thomas Mathai Mathew [Treasurer],Mathew Varkey [Music team leader],Blesson Varghese (Transport Convener)and the office bearers of the Parish is also commendable. Kudos to all teachers, volunteers and students for their excellent team work.
